雖然已經在 Ubuntu 8.04 x86_64 內安裝了gfortran（從Synaptic 套件管理程式中安裝，安裝後，執行方式為在terminal 輸入 gfortran 即可），也用得不錯，但還是想裝一下 Intel non-commercial 版的 Intel Fortran Compiler 10.1，從 Intel 網站 download 了 l_fc_p_10.1.018_intel64，按照 INSTALL.htm 的說明，執行 ./install.sh，卻一直無法安裝，後來 google 了一下網站，才知道要將整個 l_fc_p_10.1.018_intel64 目錄搬到 /home 下面，然後 cd 到 l_fc_p_10.1.018 裡面，執行 ./install.sh （或是直接 sudo ./install.sh）才能安裝。安裝過程會問一些問題，例如序號、安裝路徑等。安裝完後（預設是安裝在 /opt/intel/fce/10.1.018）在 /opt/intel/fce/10.1.018/doc 下有一些說明文件如 Doc_Index.htm 內有不錯的說明。最重要的就是要 source 一些環境變數，在 /opt/intel/fce/10.1.018/bin ifortvar.sh
